At Polka, there's space to play, to laugh, to discover to create… with something for all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. It's a magical place where you can steal a rare moment to share with your children. No two visits are the same…you'll soon see why Polka is where theatre begins!

Polka welcomes families with children of all ages. The theatre comes complete with a baby-changing room and a buggy park, and café staff will happily warm up baby food.

The Adventure Theatre welcomes babies and toddlers to all events – there is no minimum age restriction in this performance space, and babies under 12 months go free. The Adventure Theatre has also recently played host to a number of developments in theatre for babies (6 mths +), such as Oily Cart's Jumpin' Beans and Lyric Hammersmith's Shhh.

While children under 4 are not generally permitted in the Main Theatre, we regularly schedule 'Watch with Baby' performances for certain productions, in order for you to enjoy a play with your older children, without needing to worry about childcare for your youngest ones. Should your baby become restless during the performance, then simply take them out of the auditorium where you can comfort them while continuing to watch the show on the monitor.
