Buddy

A new dark comedy drama by Miranda Langley, directed by Rafaela Elliston

Buddy is an aggressive, unpredictable rescue dog. Sophie loves him fiercely. Her sister Lorna however, worries she has bitten off far more than she can chew. When go-getting Jimmy whisks Sophie away on a mini-break, Lorna offers to mind Buddy for the weekend. So she is led into the path of Paul, an isolated, eccentric young man, and dragged headfirst into an evening that will test her already volatile relationship with Sophie to the limit. A comedy exploring loneliness, motherhood and burnout.
