Days of Significance starts with a boozy British bender and takes us through the horrors of the Iraq war. Forced to mature before they are ready, Ben and Jamie are thrust onto the Iraqi battlefield with nothing but bar scraps as training. The harsh reality of war strips them of youthful bravado revealing the fear and vulnerability beneath.
In response to Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, Roy Williams questions the morality of the Western military for stealing the youth of the ill-prepared.
N1 Theatre Company proudly presents Days of Significance by Roy Williams, directed by Paul Jaynes and performed by Court Theatre Training Company’s graduating degree students for a limited run at The Courtyard Theatre.
This amateur production of Days of Significance is presented by arrangement with Dalzell and Beresford Ltd. on behalf of Roy Williams.
