Description

Since its foundation in 1986, the Etcetera Theatre has become one of the premier venues of the London fringe. The theatre is located above the Oxford Arms pub in the heart of Camden Town, only seventy-five metres from Camden Town tube station (Northern line).

The theatre seats 42 people end-on in raked seating. There are 2 shows per evening, usually at 7.30pm and 9.30pm from Monday to Saturday and 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Sundays. But keep an eye out for our week end matinees too!

History

Welcome to the Etcetera Theatre - “one of London's best pub theatres” (the Guardian) - and host to a colossal variety of exciting, original, daring and critically acclaimed shows every single year.

We give the most creative and innovative fringe theatre and comedy acts a springboard to launch themselves onto the London scene.

We're a hub for several of London's most exciting annual theatre festivals: a founding venue of the Camden Fringe, home of the London Horror Festival for 4 years, creator of the Black Box Festival, and hosts of an Edinburgh Fringe preview season that frequently attracts some of the biggest names in stand-up and sketch comedy.

Our programme spans across everything from award winning theatre to thrilling new writing; cabaret, magic, comedy and musicals - no matter what kinds of shows excite you, you'll find them at the Etcetera.

Oh, and we're one of match.com's Top 10 Theatres for a Date in London - just in case you needed further convincing!
