Description

The Compass Theatre is a popular community theatre situated in the London Borough of Hillingdon.
As well as offering a stimulating and entertaining programme of community arts events throughout the year, the venue is home to film screenings, live music, play readings, workshops and classes on a variety of arts from film-making, to play-writing and directing workshops, that help develop new, emerging talent and strengthen community participation in the arts.

Opening hours for off-line bookings are Tues- Saturday 10.30am - 5pm

Compass Theatre is attached to the Grade 2* Ickenham Hall which was rescued post-war and became a community centre for youth drama. The modern Compass Theatre was built in 1976 and seats 158 in comfort. It is fully equipped for small scale touring and local drama group productions. It has a foyer with coffee bar and wine bar and is used extensively during the day for meetings, classes and community groups. The backstage and front of house have been upgraded in line with DDA recommendations.
