Maria Shehata is a multi award-winning Egyptian-American comedian based in London, and has been featured on Comedy Central's Comedy Central Live and The Watch List, Showtime's Bridging the Gap, Comic Relief's viral Modern Dating Horror Stories, BBC's Period Dramas and Dave Channel's Comedy Guide to Life. Her writing has been featured in "Modern Love" in the New York Times, and she was shortlisted as Top Five Best New Acts and named Pick of the Fringe at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
