Young or old, the Young Vic is a theatre for everyone. Our aim is to be this country's leading home for younger theatre artists, especially directors. We present seasons of classic plays - old and new - in productions by theatre makers with world-class reputations alongside the best of the emerging generation.
As well as rediscovering hidden gems including ‘A Raisin in the Sun’ and reinventing classics (where else would you see ‘Romeo and Juliet’ on trapezee?) the Young Vic has an enviable reputation for the best Christmas shows in London.
Our reopening season has some great new low prices. Tickets for over 26s are £15.50 and £21.50. It's slightly less for previews, slightly more on Saturday evenings and at the end of the run.
If you're under 26 it's £9.50 at all times.
Book online at www.youngvic.org and save 50p on every ticket.
Built in 1970 to last just 5 years the Young Vic is an experiment that worked. An antidote to the ‘dusty splendour’ of the West End it was designed as an intimate, informal, and enjoyable theatre experience for everyone. It’s unreserved seats ensure that you’re never more than 7 seats away from the action - and means that with each production the space can be drastically changed to great dramatic effect.
The Young Vic has recently undergone a major redevelopment including a bigger and better café and bar and two brand new smaller theatres. Register at www.youngvic.org to find out about all our work.
