Description

The Canal Café Theatre is one of London's leading fringe theatre venues with an award-winning reputation for comedy and increasingly for new writing. Perrier Winners such as The League of Gentlemen, Daniel Kitson and The Consultants to name but a few, have all had residencies at the Canal Café. Our audience sits around candle-lit tables and is permitted to take drinks into the auditorium. Often audience members are as famous as those on stage, Sir Paul McCartney even honoured us with his presence!

The theatre is based above the lovely The Bridge House Pub, ideal for pre and post show dining. Situated in the heart of Little Venice, one of the capital's most beautiful areas, it plays host to up to fourteen shows per week. It is also home to NewsRevue, Guinness World Record Holder for the world's longest running live comedy show.
