Description
ABOVE THE STAG THEATRE is the UK's only dedicated LGBT+ theatre, bar & cabaret lounge. The multi award-winning venue houses two theatre spaces - a 100 seat end-on theatre for in-house productions including an annual flagship panto and a 70+ seat newly refurbished cabaret lounge. The theatre also has a large, welcoming bar and and a dedicated rehearsal space.

History
Above the Stag was founded in 2008 in a function room above the now-demolished Stag gay pub in Victoria, before moving to its first Vauxhall venue in 2013, growing a large and loyal audience. After a major fundraising campaign, Above the Stag Theatre moved to new premises on Albert Embankment in 2018.
